Not trying to self diagnose...but I am a little concerned...anyone else have this?
Symptoms:irritated urethra, frequency, itchy red vagina, IBS symptoms, Nail breakage, tiny white spots on my legs that have lost pigment, oral ulcers and rash on tongue that come and go...
I am worried I have an auto-immune disorder:mad:

Hi, Yes I've heard of that. I was diagnosed with Lichen Schlerosis. I've had symptoms for years!! My sister was diagnosed with it. I didnt know she was having a problem. The problems that I was having is almost everything you list. I thought those symptoms were "normal" and just put up with it. But I had a gyno appt and told her everything. She didnt believe that I had it but since my sister was diagnosed she wanted to do a biopsy. I had the biopsy and it came back positive and she was surprised!! Thats why I hate to bring anything up to drs......it seems that they never believe me when I tell them I think I have a serious problem. Before I was diagnosed with I.C. my Uro put me thru rigerous testing. But enuf of my complaining.......I hope some of this helped. I definitely would bring it up to either your gyno or uro. I'm not sure if they have to do a biopsy for Lichen Planus...Its funny that you mention white spots on your legs that lost pigment. I have them on my arms. I showed them to my GP and she just said..." I dont know" and left it at that......So like I said I would get it checked out just to make sure but that would be completely up to you....I dont want to give you any bad advice or make you nervous. If you can please keep me updated on your situation.....
God Bless,
Brenda:angel:

Ive been diagnosed w/lichen planus. I actually had sores on the vulva. I also had the itchy red skin, with white borders. You can biopsy the area or just treat it w/Clobestol. If it goes away than it is a lichen problem.
Keep me posted.
