Question about cytotec in installs

Hi Everyone,

Was wondering if anyone has ever had cytotec in any of their instills?
My Uro/Gyn has been doing weekly elmiron installs for about 5 weeks now and wants to add cytotec to them. I couldn't seem to find alot of info about cytotec and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. Oh, she also wants me to start taking it orally. I had a total hysterectomy last year so some of the side effects wouldn't affect me. I have read soooo much great info in these forums I don't know what I'd do with out it!!!!

What is the advantage of using it? Did your Dr. say? It's for ulcers caused by Nsaids.

She said research has been done that says it may help heal the bladder lining similar to elmiron. She was very busy at my last appt. and I didn't have time to ask her many questions. Was having a hard time finding info on cytotec and was hoping someone here had info or experience with it.
