My main symptom is urethral pain and burning. Will instills helps this?

I am so sick of this!

I have had very good luck with a homeopathic remedy called cantharsis 30 x. Its a little bottle of tiny white pills. You take 5 three times a day.
For me, they start working very soon - like in an hour.

You can, also, trying mixing baking soda in your water - from 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 in an 8 oz bottle but you don't want to take it too many times in a row (you can alternate it with regular water) or it will act as a laxative.

Also, you don't want to take it if you have high blood pressure.

You could ask your URO for the lidocaine jets. You can squirt them up in you and they do give your urethra some relief. Also keeping your urine diluted will help with the burning and watching what you eat.

Physical Therapy caused my urethral pain & burning to disappear completely.
IIRC, it took about 6-8 session to get these results.

What did physical therapy include? I'm not sure what physical therapy is like for this sort of problem - but I'll try anything!

It included internal trigger point release, external PT mobilisations & home exercises. You need to find a PT who's trained in PFD.
