:hi:
I'm wondering what you all do at work as far as pain management. I sit in front of a computer all day and there are days that I can just pull my hair out. I get pain in my bum cheeks (hehe) and down the back of my thighs. Sometimes even between my thighs and in the pelvic bone area.
I try and get up from my desk alot and walk around.
Any suggestions on seating and some pain relief without using some meds. Don't want to be foggy at work. I do take Tramacet for my Fibromyalgia but only when I really really need it.

Have you thought about a chair cushion, I know we sell them here on the ICN. http://www.icnsales.com/Chair-Cushions-p-1-c-16.html

Also if you could bring a heating pad to work that would help..

Hi angie, you can get heating pads that fit inside your knickers :) I always put them under a small panty pad - there very discreat & most certainly give me alot of relief! I always keep one in my handbag :smile tee

I'm also a big fan of the special chair cushion. When anyone asks I just say it's for my back. (Yeah, back-side!) I also use the stick on heating pads- they're just great!
Going to a physical therapist & getting home exercises to help relieve pelvic floor muscle cramping was also helpful.
And, I'm like you, I don't take pain meds while at work, but I did add Flexeril into my nighttime meds & having the muscle relaxant even just at night has made daytimes easier...

Hope you find something that helps!
