My son just called to tell me that he heard on the radio that Morgan Freeman was in a vehicle accident last night. Morgan Freeman is my son's favorite actor of all time. He wanted me to look and see if I saw the specifics online. The accident was about 100 miles south of Memphis and he was driving. He ran off the road and tried to overcorrect and rolled the car several times. The EMTs used the jaws of life to extract him from the vehicle and was flown by life flight to our trauma center in Memphis. What I read said he was joking with the rescue team and even told someone taking his picture with their cell phone that there weren't any freebies.
I knew he had a restaurant in the vicinity, but I had no idea he and his wife had a house as well.
