How is everyone doing? Hope you all have had good days since last time I was here. Update on things: Went back on the cymbalta and this time I am staying on it. Don’t want to but have to and instead of thinking of it as the “crazy nut” pill it is also used for nerve damage. It helps so I don’t ache all over and I do have more energy. The first week it bothered the bladder during the mornings but hasn’t since the second week and not one day have I had a problem with being constipated. Have been eating oatmeal with fruit almost everyday. Plus the big happy thing about it this time is I haven’t gained one pound! Yippee!! Still don’t like that I can’t lose the weight but I haven’t gained any. The new nurses are still doing the heparin each time. I don’t like it at all but I know he doesn’t want to be bothered with doing it anymore or with me. It’s the feeling I still have when I see him. He hasn’t done it hardly at all after the main nurse left over a year ago and I really do think part of it is because I’m really fat now. There is a reason behind that but I still don’t’ want to say. Last time I saw him I asked him a simple question and he snapped at me which I think was uncalled for. Only other time he did that was years ago when I was begging him for pain meds. My “happy home with friends” no longer is and I doubt it ever was really that way. They let me think they were friends when in the end they weren’t. That is the reason why I had to get back on the cymbalta. I just couldn’t deal with it. During the day I stay busy with the children and such but when I’m laying in bed waiting for the hydroxzine to kick in I think about it. I dread going each week now but I tried going one week without and the IC went right back to what it was in the beginning. Had forgotten how bad it was back then. Couldn’t sleep just tossed back and forth and the vicoden did nothing to help at all.
Now the most important update of all. Ha The children are all trained now. I don’t have to follow them around the house to keep them out of things. Seems strange to be able to sit down , watch tv while crocheting and not have to get up every 2 minutes saying “What are you getting into?”, “Get out of that”, “get down from there”, “Leave that alone”, “Stop clawing the screen” . Once in a while their curiosity gets the best of them and then Grandma has to come out again but otherwise they’re good little children now. They don’t like walking in their stroller either so that was a short lived thing . I think how last year at this time they were little and they needed grandma. Now I’m just an old stinky shoe that has been thrown out the car window and here I sit along the highway waiting for another old stinky shoe to be tossed out so I have company.
I'll try and catch up with everyone but I migh not get to every post. If I don't respond to a post you have it isn't that I don't care I just didn't get to it ok. :wink:This interent I have is slower then a snail.
