Throwing Up...

I'm having the hardest time eating. My stomach is nausea and it feels like it's all in knots. I couldn't keep my lunch down today. Throwing up is pretty rare for me it usually only happens when I am very sick with like the flu or something. Does anyone know if this a symptom of IC?

Are you on any medications? Some meds cause nausea for me.

Nope, I'm not taking any medications. Could it be too much acidity in my stomach or maybe mucous?

Do you have a UTI i will sometimes throwup wit them, but I am not aware of it being an IC symtom but I could be wrong, and people with IC tend to other problems too. Could be a flu bug, my daughter said she had one last week, ans said just threw up for a few days, but didn't really feel sick, just couldn't keep anything in her stomach

In my corner of the country there has been lots of viruses making their way around. I was ill with a stomach bug for several days last week.
I cant imagine that IC would cause one to be ill, unless of course its from the pain.

Perhaps give it a couple of days to see if your symptoms pass; it not, ring your Dr and see what s/he has to say.

Meanwhile, push the fluids so you dont get dehydrated.

Have you tried the B.R.A.T diet?? We had to use it on my pap when he was on Hospice and was vomiting and had diarrhea. It is bananas rice applesauce and toast. He did very well on it.
