Particles floating in my pee??

Ok ladies, I have another odd question, so please forgive me if this is too weird of a question. I just have no one else to ask.
When I urinated today, I caught my pee in a cup and noticed that there was these particles floating around in it. This has happened to me many times before. They look like little skin particles. Today though, I touched one( I know, gross, but I had to do it), and it was like slimey. What could this be? I will ask my doc next time I see him, but doubt he will even know. Anyone else have this?

I have the same thing too! Mine are like small white flakes (kinda like fish food, lol) and I was also wondering what it is. Maybe someone here knows. :help:

Months before I was Dx with IC I had the same thing. Many think this may be your bladder lining shedding.. BUT this is not a fact! I would talk to the URO about it!

Yes I have it too. My drs say it is the lining but make sure you tell you dr!!

Nearly everyone, IC or not, will have some floaters in their urine at times. But most people don't pay any attention to their urine so they don't notice. When I first had problems, I mentioned the flecks and that's what my uro told me.

I guess I will ask my urogyne next time I see him, but I know exactly what he is going to say, likely that he is not sure and that it could be anything. I like how someone described it as looking like fish food, this is an ideal description. I was also thinking it could be that since our bladders are so inflammed that the damaged dead skin just falls off after awhile.
