Outside of bladder

I'm just curious.

Does the outside of the bladder with someone with IC look any different from someone who doesn't have IC?

I would not think so, but it may look different if something like endometriosis is causing your bladder pain.

Well with my bladder, it doesn't look any different than normal (i have moderate IC since the flares i get are horrible and such but i haven't had horrible bleeding and such i just get frequency/urgency issues from time to time and yeah diet effects me as does sex and stress and weather and so on...)....i would think it would have to depend on the severity of the IC you have....
Like if you have horrible inflammation or if it shrunk or something....
the last lap i had, my doc didn't say anything about my bladder looking abnormal
i think it looked a bit smaller but i am no expert on what the bladder looks like and also he was more focused on the uterus....
so yeah i would say it would depend on the severity of the disease...
thats my thought anyway....could be wrong...

Well that's what I was thinking...since IC is on the INSIDE of the bladder...

I guess I was just doubting myself again...I think its only natural to get to that thinking when you've been through all of this...and not much is helping.

since when I had my LAP they said the outside of my bladder looked ok,

but then I remembered that they were prolly saying that because I had the LAP to check for endo and endo can grow on the bladder.

I know I have IC just because I had my hydro done by the urology clinic I USE to go to and they said my bladder looked awful...petchia and red, inflammed..ick.

I guess I was just sad because these new doctors, Urogyns, didn't look at my bladder. I was just wanting some validation...for why they i'm hurting...especially from the ones who are treating me. but a cysto isnt gonna show much...anyways right...

Im gonna leave it up to them to treat me...and quit being so doubtful....Its just a been an emotional ride these past few months...

But im gonna try my hardest to stay hopeful.
