I haven't been on the ICN in a long time because my bladder is doing a lot better. The difference is amazing. I've been doing IV Rocephin (ceftriaxone) for several months. I am not cured but the difference is dramatic (I used to have to urinate 4, 5, 6 or more times per hour) now I can go numerous hours without having to urinate. My bladder is so much less irritated it's great.
To give some background -- I was diagnosed with Lyme disease and co-infections in 2006. I am 28 years old and have been symptomatic since age 14. The bladder symptoms only started up in 2004. The IV is really the thing that has made the difference in my bladder. I give myself the infusions at home (I have a port-a-cath).
I do other types of treatments too including far infrared sauna, vitamin C IVs and other nutritional IVs. I also take lots of vitamins and probiotics too.
I couldn't remember what it was like to go an hour without my bladder driving me crazy now there are days I don't even think about my bladder at all. It's really good and I hope that is encouraging to other people struggling with bladder issues. It can get better.
