Hey girls-
I have been on Vivelle dot for about eighteen months. I have some issues with it that I believe are related to fluctuating estrogen levels so I would like to try something else. My main problem is that my hair falls out really bad on the twelve hours before I change my patch and for about 18-24 hours afterwards. I also suffer from vaginal itching, headaches memory loss and poor recall during that change period. So I am thinking of trying the shot. I know it is not a 17 beta-estradiol bioidentical estrogen but I have no history of breast cancer in my family so I am comfortable with trying it. I know several women on it who have no hairloss or memory issues. However, I need to try and find some women with IC that have tried it. I have tried the dye-free estrace pills and they made my hair fall out even worse than the vivelle. I also tried the Femring which stopped the hairloss but it flare the endo in my pelvic area and made my bladder a mess. Any thoughts are appreciated. Y'all are the best!
