My tens unit is history and just doesnt work anymore, even with the duct tape I put on it to hold things in place lol. I really need one, but my insurance co wont pay for another one and I'm hoping to find one that doesnt cost a fortune. I dont want to go on Ebay, I've had nothing but bad experiences with them lately and would rather get one from someone on here that I know is trustworthy.
Please let me know if anyone has one they dont want anymore.
Thanks so much, Sandy

Sandy,
There was someone on here who had one and was willing to pass it on but can't remember who it was.. Hopefully they will see this and email you.
All the best

I don't know that much about today's TENS units vs. older ones. What features are you looking for?

You need to be very cautions about passing on a TENS unit. In the USA, they do require a physician's order --- so it actually isn't legal to pass one on to someone else.
If you have a doctor's order, you might check with Jill to see if there are some available.
Gentle hugs,
Donna

The unit I have is about the size of a small game boy, the old game boys rather, or perhaps an insulin pump. Mine was rx'd by my doctor and given to me by the physical therapist. It has all the setttings, burst I and burst II, continuous, etc. so I think I'm ok in that area and wouldnt get in trouble for replacing the one I have.
It has 2 holes, for the wires, with the two wires forking out to make 4 total leads.
With all this packing, etc, I'm REALLY missing it, and like I said, my insurance co would only pay for one.....which really stinks. I have TONS of supplies for the unit, but cant use it.
I want the unit for my back and also for the IC, and for my hip pain.
I doubt there would be any laws broken because it's written down in the PT's notes, and the orthopedists notes.
Hope this helps. Sandy
ps. If I have to I spose I could get the hubby to buy me a new one, but I dont want him to fork out all that money for a new one.

Sandy,
Look at Daina's posting two posts down in the T.E.N.S. board
" T.E.N.S. Unit
I have a TENS unit that I would give or sell to someone if it would help you. I am new to this so don't really know alot about how these message boards work. You can mail me at dgbuck@ptsi.net."
