Has anyone tried Vyvanse?

I was wondering if anyone has tried Vyvanse? It's supposed to be even longer acting than the extended release of Adderal, so I was wondering if it would work a little better.

ALSO,
Has anyone found that our symptoms come back as the meds wear off, like in the morning or during the night? I really, REALLY want this to work! :)

Hi Elle,

I am sorry but I have not heard of Vyvanse. I started on Dextro about 8 months ago and have had wonderful results. Before that I was in a flare for almost a year straight. I have had one flare since and it lasted a couple of days. I know adderall has some things in it that my doctor said I did not need. That is why she put me on the dextro. I don't take extented release because I did not like the way it made me feel. I take 5mg in the morning and 5mg later in the day if I need it.

When I first started the dextro it would wear off in the afternoon and that why I started the second dose. I do it anytime after 12:00 before 3:00. The longer I was on the dextro I found that most of the time I did not even need the second dose. After months of no flares my bladder finally calmed down. This is what has work for me!:smile tee

Thanks for responding. What about in the morning before you take the next dose, do you have any pain? Did you by chance stay on any other meds when you started? Thanks so much for your help! I really do appreciate it! :)

I do not have pain in the morning. At first I did have some discomfort but Since I have been the dextro for a while, I do not have pain in the morning. I stayed and zanazflex, atarax at first. Now I only take when I need it.That worked for me. If you considing the dextro you should talk with your doctor about other meds.
