They also have an on-line program. You might check into that.

The meetings are only like 45 min long....or even shorter if you only just get weighed in. At the risk of sounding harsh: do you never leave the house for anything? Or is it that you don't want to spend the money....some meetings can let you stretch out the payments weekly, rather than fork it over all at once. And if you have insurance they'll reimburse almost all of it--and the ceck came really quick once I mailed off the form.

As far as us telling you how many points and all that stuff ...legally I don't know if that's OK. WW might have a problem with us giving their program away for free.

You could always try sparkpeople.com ...its free...it deals with just calories...so you wouldn't have to figure out points or any of that stuff. and it has online support with other people from all over going thru the same thing. :)

Someday I'm going to write a book about people who love their dogs too much and all the dysfunctional things we do for them because we get so much love from them and NYAngela, you will have to be in it!

It depends on your current weight, age and height and daily activity, but if you got the book from the meeting it is the eat wisely book on page 18-19 on how to figure your points. It is definately worth going to the meetings once a week at least for a month or 2, I did weightwatchers at the beginning of the year for 2 mos and you really can understand it more when you go to the meetings. I was confused at first too until I went to the meetings. I really need to get back on Weightwatchers, I can do it myself now that I know how to do it. It works if you really want to lose the weight.

well I do leave the house... Its more like money i have no insurance and pay my medical bills and meds... and as for me being in a book... I love my dog she is amazing to me.. she has the fastest killing cancer in dogs.. and they gave her 0-90 days and this saturday will be 6months. she has a lot of sick days not with the cancer because once the cancer hits again something with burst and her time is over. she has a lot of issues i have been dealing with by myself. and i don't mean to sound rude but this isn't easy sure i have a bf but he is no help with my dog. they never bonded and he really doesn't do much 4 her. plus i have a 2nd dog and I have dreams and things i would love to do with my life and my life seems on hold. My weight is out of control. my bladder isn't great! so there u go. I guess after she passes i will deal with weight loss!:toilet::toilet::toilet::toilet::toilet:
