Hello, I was wondering if any docotors have ever suggested you see a rheumatologist...i have bladder symptoms along with many others (mouth sores, sore tongue, vulvadinya type symptoms, IBS, eczema, nail problems)....she put the idea in my head that i may have an auto-immune disorder and i should see a rheumotologist...has anyone else ever been told this or have seen this type of docotor?

Hi there. I was told to see a rheumo for fibromyalgia. I always had alot of joint pain and all the classic fibro symptoms. When I went to the rheumo, he did do a lot of blood tests on me for other things also, so that could be why they suggested it for you. :) Lisa

I agree with Lisa, I too was sent to one and had all the tests run on me. some say that IC is an auto-immune disorder because it comes with so many other things.
