I got back a few days ago from being in Europe for 3 weeks and I was very worried about following my IC Diet over there. I have to give Kudos for all of you in Europe because I did really well, in fact, I was able to eat some things I don't normally eat (I ate Nutella everyday). After discussing it with my relative who I stayed with in Germany, the consensus is that the Europeans don't allow much processing and chemicals in their food.
Since I've been back, my bladder is in full flare mode and I'm looking for ways to cut back on my chemical consumption.
Anyone traveling to Europe, have fun and enjoy the food!

I also recently went to europe. I was pretty worried about the diet because I am pretty sensitive. So, I rented a condo so I could cook. In the grocery store, I noticed that their foods have less preservatives and chemicals.

In the end, the condo turned out to be more cost-effective for us too!

Geobun,
Good for you! Not only did you have a good bladder experience, I'm sure you saved money by eating in. We did the same thing too.
