Interactions w/ Dex?

Does anyone else take Ultram or MS Contin with Dextro? I'm just wondering if I would have to stop taking my other meds just see if this works better. Obviously, I'm going to discuss it w/ my Dr first,I just want to kinda know myself before bringing it up. I'm just so scared try another med b/c of the fear of having even more pain. :(

I take the lowest dose ms contin available. I tried ritalin the two together.
I will never take ritalin again. I did not like how it made me feel. It also affected my judgement to drive 5 hours later. It's gone the ritalin done deal. Vn

Just curious...How did it make you feel? I'm trying to weigh all my options before asking my Dr to prescribe something new, and the last thing I need is to be in pain AND be a zombie! :rolleyes:

I use to take ultram three times a day. After I was on dextro, I stopped to see if I needed them anymore. I did not, so I never went back. That was fine with my doctor and me. When my pain got too bad I would take lortab. That was not very often. The ultram helped a lot as long as I took before I was in pain.

If your thinking about trying the dextro, I would make sure you crossed check all your meds with your doctor. My goal was to get off as meds as I could.

The dextro does not work for everyone. I think my uro has tried it on about four people, and only one did not relief from it.

We all know meds are different for everyone. I have had alot of help form it.
