Hubby & I went out to dinner with our daughter, her husband and our first grandbaby. (1 year old today & who I'm babysitting at the moment.....thank God she's napping because all of this toddler activity is hard on this old lady!)
Anyway, my daughter said "Hey I had I doctor appointment today and look what he gave me". She handed me a sheet from the prescription pad. I get out my glasses and am trying to read the handwriting. -Why do doctors have such awful penmanship? Finally I made it out, patient is currently pregnant/ due March 14th.
:woohoo: I like being a Grandma!

No kidding Tracey! This is definitely a young person's game! I've come to the conclusion that good sitters aren't paid near what they should be earning!

My one and only baby is now 38. He is not married. I do not have any grandchildren. *pout* I have been saying for years that by the time he decides to settle down, get married and have babies...I will be too old to be a Grandma. :lmao:
Congratulations, Vicki!!! :)

Nah Sharon,...you're never too old to be a Grandma! But, -tell your son to get busy! Time's a wastin'! :smile tee
Though there are some things that one just can't do like one used to! Genna came this morning at 6:30 and by 1:00 I couldn't possibly lift her one more time because my back hurt so bad. And by the time my daughter showed up at 6:00pm I think I needed a nap worse than little Genna!

I tell him all the time, but he just rolls his eyes at me.

Sharon: I don't think our "kids" take to hints at all.
Vicki: Congrats on the grandchild to be! I know what you mean, all this picking the little ones up - No, I'm not a G-ma but an Aunt many times over and the youngest one is 3 and thats all she wants to do is have someone pick her up all the time!! (and I can't do it cause of back problems).
