Smelly ordor

I didnt know where to post this so here goes!!This is a touchy subject but...has anyone noticed when you are flaring that your pee smells really bad??And you have a much stronger smell then usual??Sorry this is all new to me was diagnosed in Feb. and am now on Elmiron 2x aday and had my 1st instill on Toesday with Elmiron,lido,and sodium bicarb.Wow in a flare since I had instill...is that normal??

Atarax makes me really irritable and depressed so I am going bck to benedrl at nite.

Any answers would be helpful.Sitting on a ice pack as we speak..

Are you sure you don't have an infection??
since usually when urine smalls bad its because of an infection....
i sometimes before found it would be a strong odor something but i think you really should get it checked out...
i hope you find relief soon....:pray:
one thing to help that may help you is either an overactive bladder med like oxybutinin or a muscle relaxant like flexeril....i find that either one and sometimes both will calm things down enough so i can sleep so then i can deal with it better the next day...
definitely get checked out though....

Sometimes food or drink can cause an unpleasant odor. And not drinking enough will cause the urine to become concentrated and have a strong smell.
