IB and Gas

I was just wondering, with my IB I often find that I am very gassy, regardless of what I eat. (My husband likes to joke that breathing gives me gas.) I'm curious, do others with IB have this problem, or is it just me?!?!

I also have IB and when it is acting up I do notice a lot of extra gas, and bloating, and espically a lot more pain.:mad:

Just recently did a doctor give me the knowledge of what they I guess always knew--that I have IBS, and yes now when it apparently is worse I am very gassy.....this may be related to other things in my case though.

I have IBS too and suffer terribly from gas. I get terrible gas pains if I don't eat at regular times. Eating small and often helps me

I was eating small and often for as long as I can remember since I don't have a colon. I am on a medicine hyoscyamine that I am supposed to take before I eat...it does help some with the gas....is anyone else on this.....what is it and what else do you do???????
