Dmso Treatments

Hi Everyone
I'm down to my last dmso treatment on Friday and besides not feeling to good for a couple of day's after I thought I was doing good. Until Sunday night I keep having pain in my right side again more so then in the beginning it doesn't hurt to press it just hurt's inside. I just had a laproscopy for my endo two weeks ago also and not sure if it's from that or not. All I know so far from that surgery is he removed several adhesives. I'm so frustrated because my urgoloist can't see me and his secretary told me to go to the hospital.
I don't know if this is what everyone call's a flare up and I shouldn't worry, does anyone have any answers

Any time we have a catheter inserted, it puts us at some risk for infection. I suggest you have your urine checked to be sure you don't have infection. It could be just a flare, but any time the pain increases fairly quickly and you haven't had a trigger food or drink, it's a good idea to rule out infection.

I agree with Donna, I would go and be tested too you may have a uti.. at my uro I can just go in and they will test it and then send it out for a culture..... hope you feel better soon. Keep us posted.

Donna is very much right anytime we have a cath put in us it does have a risk of infection you should call your doctor to make sure you don't have a uti.

My Doc's office always gave me a couple of antibiotic pills when I left after an instillation. Please ask about it. Hugs, Kathi :frown:

Thanks Everyone for writing back so quickly I thought of a infection to at first but I have no burning when I void and before every treatment they send away a sample.
What I find strange about all this is my urgo has me on no meds at all.
