Nausea

It seems to be starting in the morning sometimes I wake up feeling sick. I'm dealing with nausea everyday and it's getting to be a bit much. I'm not currently on any medication. This is a symptom of IC right? What do other people use to get through this? Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

I did get nauseated by the middle to end of each day and at night with my IC.

I have nausea with my IC but i think mine is due to terrible pains i experiance with my bladder. Although most morning i do wake up feeling like i have morning sickness (had a hysterectomy last year) i have been to gastro to do a full work up and they cant figure out what causes my nausea so i am convinced it is related to my IC. I use Compazine 10 mg and/or Zofran which a place under my tongue and it melts. I tried suppository's for nausea but they seemed to make my stomach isues worse. I also drink Camamile (spelling) anD Ginger Root Tea and also suck on Ginger Lozengers. Hope everything works out.God bless

Morning nausea is often a symptom of overproduction of stomach acid or GERD. Check with your dr or try some OTC Pepcid before bed at night. I am on a prescription strength acid reducer and after years of "morning sickness" I suffer no more. I only get nauseous when in a painful flare but the nausea is not limited to the mornings only when that happens.

If this is a new symptom for you, by all means you need to talk with your doctor. There are lots of things that could be causing it.
