i just became aware that some of these site for free medicine is trying to charge people that just isn't right if it is free to low income people then why would they charge :confused: that sounds like a big rip off to me i'm sorry i didn't look more closely at these websites i will not say they all do this i have many website listed so if you are looking for your medicine for help and they want you to pay money then please dont do it i dont personally feel this is safe.
frist off if you need your medicine you and short on cash you dont have it to give to them and wait a mth to get it.
second of all you can go to a local church that helps with things like heating houseing rent food medicine etc and they will pay for your medicine at no cost to you they will give you piece of paper to take to the drug store with your rx to have filled but beware most places like this will not help with pain medicine only anti never pill antidepression medicine and anti for infections
and you will get it that day beside having to wait forever just dont go on the day they help with cooling and heating cost are you will be there all day call and asked when they help with medicine. you can get a list of this from your local dss office just call them you dont even have to go there and they will give you the name and numbers over the phone.
if you do go ask for help you have to have these things so make sure you have them
a copy of your checks if ssd or ssi just a copy will be fine or a letter from s.s
if you work last eight pay check stub and bills you have paid.
all s.s card for everyone in the house hold.
for kids if you dont have the s.s number and they are in school the school will give you a copy of this it will save time or if they are on food stamps or medicaid you can get it there beside waiting all day at the s.s office for a print out which is unreal.
all driver lis. for people in the household that is old enough to drive or a picture id.
mostly this is information you already have laying around the house and this is quicker to do to get your medicine and you get it the same day.
the bills they count are phone bills house payments tax payment on your house or rent power bill phone bill food cost power bill they dont count nothing else like a car payment. they do how ever count inc. on your house even if its rental inc. they will count that.
make sure you have everything before going down there Oh and if you get food stamps have a copy from dss how much you get they count that too and can easly find out if you get them or not so be honest about it or you could get in trouble and we dont want that. so have everything together and go to one of these local places to get help
YOU can also have your doctor fill out the paper work to get your medicine to and they can get it every mth for you for free d****ered right to your each mth without going threw this these place in your community will only help you one time to two times a year on medicine. if i can be of anymore help please let me know
