Hi guys
I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been online a lot lately. Sorry. I am so frustrated with everything and ready to give up hope! We were hoping the second Interstim surgery would give me a bit of relief and nothing yet. I am beginning to think that bladder removal may lead me to a better life down the road. I still have to urinate every 10 minutes day and night I don't know how much longer I can hold on like this. I really try to stay positive but its so hard when time keeps going by and things continue to go nowhere.
I just don't know what else to do.
Thank you for listening and understanding. I just want to LIVE again.

So sorry that nothing has been working so far. I am in continued prayers for you. What do you do to distract yourself?
I find that humor helps me so I've been watching funny youtube videos I got from someone else as well as Whose Line is it ANyway? - a now old comedy.
Let me know how I can help more
Take good care

Hi all
Well I was suppose to see my primary dr this morning. I got there and couldn't walk, couldn't function with severe head pain and nausea. The dr was late so the nurse told me go to the ER(45 minutes away). We called the ambulance and I spent the day there. I can't believe I can even function as I was given TONS of meds from Fentanyl, demeral, dilaudid, toradal, zofran and still the severe head pain won't stop and I can't walk without running into everything.
The drs refuse to do the MRIs here so will need to travel out of state to someone that will. Even though my urologist said it was okay to do it.
I just can't take this much longer.
If you have a chance to send a little luck my way I would appreciate it.
Thank you for listening!

Hi Zippy, I know exactly how you feel, one gets to that moment every so often where you really think you can't go on but somehow one does. Hang in there. It's good to know there are others out there also suffering and reading about everyone elses pain and symptoms makes me realise mine is nothing at all. Best wishes, I wish we were able to help make things easier but my thoughts are with you too.
regards
Dawn

Thank you EVERYONE!! It means so much to have your support.
I am really scared with all this. I am headed back to the hospital today.
Then my urologist out of state talked with my primary doctor here and they will do an MRI out of state....this is crazy so somehow I have to find someone to drive me again 12 hours!!
I don't think I could even ride in the car that long without being sick.
I am so sorry.

I am glad you are getting your MRI it sounds like you need it. I also assume someone will drive you. Get meds from your doc so you can sleep most of the way. Take your heating pad, blankets, pillows what everwill make you the most comfortable. When I have had to travel long ways in pain the Dr. has given me a painmeds shot with gravol when leaving to make the trip most comfortably, I know these will noy last the whole way, but then you could keep on top of the pain and discomfort, with your reg meds.
The other thing I do it take my son,s laptop and watch movies or take books on cd/tape to listen too, these help take your mind off of things.
Good luck Mothergoose

Zippy, I say a prayer for you every day for a doctor to get you well. You have been through way too much. You must be a very strong person the way you are dealing with this.
Thanks for keeping us updated.

Hi guys,
Thank you for your kindness. I do appreciate it so much!
Well today my primary dr went over the CT results and they found
a tumor in my brain. They aren't sure what to do because of the severe headaches that won't let up at all. I haven't done anything this week but lay in a dark room and go to the ER. They gave me a ton of heavy duty drugs to try and avoid going back to the ER but my primary dr said we may need to admit me to the hospital for a PCA.
I am so scared. Any extra prayers or thoughts are much appreciated.
I have no idea what I am going to do.
I know one day at time!!
Thank you all for the support that I really need!!

I know I am still realatiy new to here but I feel really bad for you. You will be in my prayers daily. Take it one day at a time. Lots of times they can remove the tumors without haveing to do other things lets hope for that. I pray also you get some releif from the headache while they figure out what they are going to do to help you. Maybe the hospital might be the best place for you for the time beening. IV pain meds work so much better.
My best wishes go out to you Mothergoose

Thank you everyone for your kind words! They mean so much to me!! I will keep you updated the best I can. It is hard for me to be on the computer because any activity really increases the headaches a lot more and my vision is really blurry!
Thank you for being there!!

Mary ,
My heart goes out to you. You are dealing with so much more than IC and just ic is so difficult to deal with. A tumor on top of it all. That is so unfair and cruel for some people to have to suffer so much. It makes me so angry that in your current condition you have to travel 12 hours to have an MRI done out of state. There is something definitely wrong with the health care system. It's just as bad here in Canada. There is very little compassion for those suffering . It's so hard to find good health care and caring doctors. I am scared that theings are only going to get worse. Something needs to be done soon. I pray that you can be treated and have the tumor removed. I met a young lady one of the times thatI was hospitalized for my IC and pelvic pain and she had a brain tumor and had been operated a few days ago. She was doing quite well. Please don't lose hope. Keep us informed.
