Good to share some positive news.
I'm not diagnosed with IC. I'm diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction.
Had my initial eval/assessment with pelvic floor physical therapist. Paid out of pocket and was waiting to hear back from insurance on the waiver. The 10th biz day was this past Friday so when I called twice on Friday with it still "pending".... I got a name and direct number to call today.
Then they called me back later this morning and said it was approved.
That means they'll pay 90% for 6 months. She said if I need more than 6 months, I'll need to re-submit another waiver to have my PT specialist approved at the "provider rate".
Two more days.... Wed is my first treatment. :pray:
