My pelvic pain never ever goes away. Ever, not even a second. Does this typically happen to people?

Well usually tests are done to eliminate other diagnoses...
If you are like most of us here you have probably had the whole run down of tests....
I do have pelvic pain most days...not too severe but i have been pretty much housebound for a few months for various reasons...
But yeah i pretty much have pelvic pain and/or back pain...
But it is good to rule out anything serious first....
i hope you get relief soon....we all need more 'good' days :pray::pray:
if you ever need to vent just message me...
take it easy :grouphug::grouphug:

Yes! I have pelvic and back pain "all the time". Nothing relieves it but lying down helps it to subside a little, however, if you're like me, you have to work so lying down isn't an option. I'm also tired all the time and could sleep my day away if given the opportunity. I wish I could tell you how to make this better but unfortunately I can't. I know that I'm so tired of this that some days it doesn't even seem worth living if this is what my life is going to be all about.

I am almost always aware of my bladder, but most of the time I'm not in pain --- unless I ingest something on my trigger list or do too much lifting.

I was diagnosed with IC in 2003. The Urgency and frequency started in May of 2002 right out of the blue it took 14 months to get a diagnosis, and then I was told that actually I have had it since I was a teenager. The pain started about July of 2002 and nooone would help with the pain my Ic doc told me to take Ibuprofen and I would feel btter. HAHAHA I have been in constant pain for the last 3 years no days with no pain. I have had days when I am able to do things but not many. I have been taking vicodin for over 3 years now and and I am getting ready to go back on Morphine because it helps the most for the pain, I still have some but I can functions some with it. I hope that this is helpful for you.

I also always feel my bladder. Even on good days, I still have the pressure. As for my pain, every night I have pelvic pain and that is usually from doing alot during the day, my pfd acts up. I know my routine so in the evenings I know I have to rest, I feel best in the mornings. I do always have low back pain. If I eat something that I know would bother me, then I will have pain also.

I also always have pelvic pain !! It never fully goes away . Sometimes it is more tolerable then others , typically in the morning as long as Im not in a flare or have something else going on . By nighttime I can barely walk or stand up straight on most days .
