Greetings All!
My IC is related to a back injury suffered in 02 which was corrected with surgery almost a year ago. After many visit with my gyn it wasn't until the fall of 06' when he sent me to a urologist who figured out all my drama was IC related. Since I only had issues after the 5 times a yr I have sex I thought it was gyn related.
Post surgery I feel great! Eating and drinking what I wanted I thought my IC days were behind me. 4 weeks ago IC came back during a bout of depression and the 1st sexual moment I've had post surgery(it felt like torture and had to stop) every week since I feel I'm getting worse! Last week I had a gyn exam with sonogram which sent me screaming off the exam table followed by the same ligering pain I have after sex.
I feel like I'm going crazy looking for answers and pain relief again. This morning I started back with Cysta-Q(much cheaper on e-bay)marshmellow root tea and cornsilk tea at my worst before surgery this trio greatly helped me. Although this time baking soda and water did not, in the past it was a quick pain reliever.
I'm 32, single and haven't had sex without issue in years! Next week the love of my life is visting, the way I feel at this moment I almost don't want him to come. Nobody in my life understands this when I talk about IC but I know you do. I greatly appreciate any advice you can offer.
