Help with Inflammation...

I feel like most of my pain (for the past 2 weeks!) has been from severe inflammation in my bladder. Is there anything I can take that will help with inflammation?

I may ask my doctor for a steriod pack. I'm afraid to take advil or aleve - I don't want them to cause more pain.

Have you tried using a heating pad? I can't use steriods at all since it wacks out my immune system. I took way too many as a child due to Eczema. Also, any meds like Advil have ibuprofin in it which is irritating for alot of people with IC. I have taken Tylenol before, but my doctor had advised me that I shouldn't take any extra Tylonel due to me already using pain meds. I believe Aleve has ibuprofin in it too.
