How do you get the doc to diagnose you with that?

By this I mean, how can you or they differentiate between radiating bladder pain and a whole other set of pain?

I am almost certain I have it, but the docs are so consumed by my bladdre, they really won't pay much attention to the fact that my vaginal lips feel like they are going to just fall off everytime I sit.

Hi,

I have to say that my Dr. is also focusing on my IC although I have mild symptoms. I was diagnosed by my regular gyn. w/ vulvodynia/vestibulitis and possible IC....then I went to the IC specialist. He seems very intent on ignoring my vulva pain (that is harsh...but kind of true!) as well and treating the IC first to see if that helps my other conditions. He believes they are related and so first, we are starting w/ treatment for IC to see if that relieves my pain with intercourse (that is my main symptom). I hope this helps....this is what my Dr. believes will help. I hope he is right!! Good luck!
