Can IC cause Acne?

I was diagnosed with IC this year after many years of misdiagnosis. I have struggled with IC since I was a teenager and now in my thirties. I wanted to know has anyone experienced acne from IC? I have mild acne but when I have a flare up my acne becomes worse.

i've noticed my skin has gotten worse, too... but I just figured it was from the meds I'm taking. I guess it's possible that IC flares could cause breakouts...? it's a stressful thing, and doesn't stress contribute to both IC and breakouts?!?

I haven't heard of anyone developing acne as a result of IC.

You know, now that you mentioned it I have noticed my Acne has gotten worse with years but not sure if it was due to the IC or maybe from stress. Have heard they say chocolate doesn't cause it which surprised me. Have you found anything that works good for it? I haven't found anything so far. Most just dry my face up and it starts to peel and hurts.
