Has anyone used magnetic therapy for their I.C.? I was recently diagnosed with I.C. and I pulled out my magnets and have been laying it on my bladder nightly for about 30 minutes. I have 2 powerful magnets that I got years ago for my endometriosis pain. I got them from Dr. Philpott (father of magnetic therapy). Anyway, I've been pain free for a couple of weeks now. I'm hoping it will continue.

Do you know how strong of a magent it takes? Should certain people avoid it if they have heart problems?
I hope you continue to have good results.

There is lots of information about magnetic therapies at http://quackwatch.org/search/webglimpse.cgi?ID=1&query=magnets
I don't think I'll consider it.

My supervisor @ work has a magnetic bracelet, she "swears" that it helps her arthritis tremendously.
I got my husband a Hematite bracelet recently & he said his arthritis is better since he started wearing it.
Definitely gotta be careful, there are alot out there that aren't good quality, my supervisor got one of those types & it didn't do anything.:smile tee:cat:

Sounds like it does exactly what massage does (get the blood and lymph flowing) only for a lot cheaper...great!

You'll want to use caution with magnets around such things as watches, hearing aids, electronic implants, such as pacemakers.
