I'm 53 years old, and had a very early menopause at 45. I have been on estrogen therapy for about 8 years. I have IC, acid reflux, possibly IBS, and have just been diagnosed with osteoporosis. My doctor wants me to start an injectable treatment for osteoporosis called "Forteo". It is supposed to generate new bone growth, and is taken for a 2 year period. Has anyone had any experience with this or any other osteoporosis treatment? I'm always worried about new meds triggering my IC.
