I'm not really sure about that one I haven't had to do instills.I was wondering though how you were feeling since your hydro?Did it help you at all?And did they finally diagnosis you with IC?I look at you pictures and you remind me so much of my niece who is the same age and in college and I really feel for you.I know how hard life in general is at this age besides having to deal wth this while your friends don't have too and probrably have no clue about what you are feeling.I'm here if you want to talk to someone and hope that you are feeling better :smile tee

Call customer srevice with the insurance. Tell them you have been prescribed "meds names" and ask them who you should talk to about coverage. If your insurance company participates with any of the mail-in companies they will give you the information you need. I live in a small town and there are 2 pharmacies that can get the supplies for me. I can also use the mail-in pharmacy that my insurance uses.

There are lots of people that do have trouble getting meds. I have PPO Blue Cross Blue Shield State of TN Employee's plan. I don't think we are suppose to give company names on a post but PM me and I will tell you the pharmacies I can use. There is a problem getting heparin since the Baxter recall.

My instill is lidocaine, heparin, and sodium bicarbonate. The heparin and lidocaine are generic and cost me $5 each for 3 months supply. For some reason sodium bicarbonate cost $15 for the 3 month supply.
