No Pain...No IC?

Hey everyone: one doctor says I definitely have IC....the other says I don't.

The doctor that says I don't says because I have NO PAIN it most likely is not IC.

I have frequent urination, bad flow, up around four times a night, and Elmiron hasn't done much.

Do any of you have IC WITHOUT any pain?

Thanks anyone...I really don't know what to do. The second doctor says I should try something called Prolieve Thermodilatation System (the "microwave" the prostate...I know, it sound fun).

I have no pain just pressure and frequency and burning down there when I am in a flare,I have had 2 hydros so I know for sure that I have IC.I think that IC can be different for everyone,I do know that some people have pressure and frequency first then the pain starts I thank god have been diagnosed for almost 10 years and haven't had any pain.

Also no pain. Just 24/7 urge/frequency, heightened pressure sensation, and burning. I've only been dx with IC via my symptoms. However, doctors do seem stumped that I do not have pain. I could not imagine having my symptoms plus pain! I had very weak flow when I first developed IC. The only thing that seems to drastically improve all my symptoms was Physical Therapy for Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. I stayed at 90% improvement for almost a year now I'm having problems again and need to go back. Physical Therapy may work for you especially if you have a high tone pelvic floor like me.
