Dr. Moore has mentioned IC in her column again.
I'm pleased, it was a much more accurate description of IC, and even listed the ic-network for more information.

She said she would print a correction to the magazines earlier reference to IC, and she kept her word.

Hooray for Dr. Moore! She's putting the word out about IC.

Could you please give me more information about the magazine you are referencing? Name, publication date, etc. I try to collect as many articles as I can for future reference, but I am not familiar with First.

I would love to read Dr. Moore's article on IC. I have never seen anything written about IC anywhere except here on ic-network (this site is the greatest!). Please let me know the name of the magazine. I would appreciate it much. Thanks, Tilly

I wouldn't exactly call it an article on IC, I would call it a blip mentioned in a doctor's medical column. It was posted in the First Magazine for Women. The February 16 issue, with Kelly Ripa on the front cover.

Dr. Moore originally mentioned IC in her column about the middle of November. Because of an editing error, it was made to seem that all one had to do if they had IC was "tweak" their diet. Oh yeah, I believe drinking cranberry juice was also mentioned eek . Dr. Moore was e-mailed by some from this board, and she responded, but for some reason, her post was zapped from the message board. She told us that the information would be corrected in a later edition of the magazine.
