My Dr. were sure I have IC, my old uroligist said I had IC after cycto and hydro but didn't treat it.
I saw a new Uroligist last week. He asked me a million questions, some I am not sure how they relate to urology but what the heck. When he was done he said he is sure I have IC, and PFD. He hsa booked me for an ultra sound and a cysto in a couple of weeks. I am a little concerned because he wants to do cysto with no anastetic, I guess I will take what meds I have before I go for it. I have had cysto with no anastetic before (that were painful) but not since IC diagnoses. He beleive previous diagnoses but whats to make sure nothing else is going on too.
He already said he wasn't to put me elimeron, I am not to sure about this I get major headaches, and have just had a three year headach end. But I will go with an open mind, I will probably try it, it may not give me a headache who knows.
I have a question do other people with IC have white stuff floating in their urine when they have a flare. I do the worse the flare the more white stuff.
I have never really thought to much about it because it is there frequently.
He wants me to bring in a urine sample with the white floaties to be tested to see what it actually is, he says it is most likely the bladder linning, but he wants to be sure. Not a problem for me it happens frequently. I have told to other Dr. about this and they said nothing. One time I was straining my urine for kidney stones and I had so much white stuff, the urine could not flow through the strainer.
So two questions do others have this, or could it be from something else?
The Dr. said that this ment advanced IC, have other who have the white been told this?
And just as an after thought, I got to my appointment and they wanted a urine sample, I ussally collect these in the morning at home, my flow is so week I can't seem to catch it in the little jars. So at home I clean all of me who knows which direction the urine is going to go, I then collect urine in a sterilze container that fits on the toilet, and then tranfer it to the jar. So I was a little concerned but they gave me a jar with a removeable white thing attached to it, so it collects the urine which ever way it goes. I thought it was pretty ingenious.
PS As an after thought for those of you who think the white stuff maybe seaman, I don't collect on mornings we have been busy.
