Does Yeast Inf affect IC?

does anyone know if having a yeast infection can irritate IC ? Like we dont have enough issues going on down there that we have to worry about baking cakes too lol Im coming back as a cat in my next life !!!

I've noticed some tiny symptoms of a yeast infection, but it never gets full blown. It kind of comes and goes, so I'm not really for sure it's the start of a yeast infection.

I wouldnt come back as a cat. They can get IC too!

Yeast can affect may people's IC. The burning and irritation cause many people problems with their IC. If you think you might have an infection, it may be time to get with a doc. There is a great thread on here somewhere by Katrina about ways to help with yeast infections and how to keep them away. The tips are very helpful.

Wow I didnt know that ! Ok so maybe not as a cat haha

I did one of those Yeast inf indicators at home and it said yeast plus I have the specific gross discharge that goes w it . I just finished antibiotics for a UTI so it makes sense ... Im super sensitive when it comes to antibiotic induced yeast inf !!! I hate it ! But I think Im going to take your advice and call the GYN because if I have leaking ovarian cysts I should probably see her anyway . Im just reluctant because she always tells me Im fine regardless of whats going on so I try to weigh the pros and cons of getting very frustrated because of talking to her ...

YES! yeast can be a major flare issue for IC.. I know I am dealing with that right now! :cussing:
