Its been a while since i talked with you. I am so glad you are doing well. I read your recovery post and story. I Thought of myself when you talked about your aniversary. I am so glad you got to cheris the moment. I don't know if you remember we talked a bit before you had your surgery. I am to have my surgery on sept 6th.. I keep getting asked if i am scared and are you sure this the right thing to do. ya know this is a life change forever. (From friends and family). Gee lets stop and think we with IC don't have a cure do we! Its here for the rest of our lives all the medications they give us are just a try to give us comfurt. well i thought about there questions and would i rather be using the restroom 75 times a day or 10 to 12? would i rather be sick or be healthy? would i rather save on toliet paper or start to use it as a tax right off? I would like to just enjoy my day where every five minutes there is not the issure of the bladder. Sorry to drag on I just wanted to update you on my situation and let you know i have been thinking about you and my heart is with you! I wish you the best of recovery and great hopes for your new life

Jodiii,

I spent most of my life in Utah. Would you mind if I asked you Surgeon's name? I am going to move back to Salt Lake when my daughter graduates. She will then attend the U of U. I used to see a urogyn in SLC her name was Liz Graul. Are you having the surgery at the University Hospital?

I have so many questions. I agree with you in regard to quality of life.
