enablex for urgency

I am curious..when I first saw my gyn she was firm in saying that enablex would cure my urge to go and I am not incontinent. When I took the enablex, I had horrible bladder spasms and was in the bathroom 24/7 with very little coming out. Is enablex a treatment for one who might have IC? Would this reaction be common if I indeed have IC? Thanks!

I could not tolerate Enablex. It gave me severe retention and it did not help my urge feeling at all..I really think it made it worse being that it made me have retention.

I tried Enablex without success also. I am now taking Vesicare and it seems to be helping. Perhaps you could ask your Dr. for a different OAB drug?

I was on Enablex for my IC as well. It did not do anything for me.
