:bonk:Just thought I would write a quick note to "notify" anyone who is considering obtaining a prescription from your doc to get Cystistat from Canada. Caution to the wind, my vials were supposed to arrive yesterday (I sat and waited all day since I had to sign) and found out they got stuck in customs in Newark, NJ. I had to fax a copy of my Passport and the Pharm. had to fax a copy of the manufacturers name, address and other important info directly to customs in order for them to decide if they will release it to me. Sure hope it's the "miracle cure" for all the trouble it takes to get it here. Also, if your RX says fill 10 with 2 refills let's say, if you just order two of the ten (to space out the expense) the next time you refill you will still pay the same amount each time they ship. I know that's norm for overnight shipping but I'm thinking it might be best to just fill the whole darn thing to say on hundreds of dollars of shipping costs in end. So here I sit again today waiting for the Fed-Ex man to arrive. I'm tracking it on the computer (that works great) but calling seems to have more up-to-date info......

We used to get some prescriptions from a pharmacy in Canada, but that has been made so difficult that most pharmacies there send the prescriptions on to pharmacies in other countries, including the US. We finally gave up on it.
