Hello everyone,
I started Tofranil three weeks ago (approx.) For those of you who get relief on Elavil, this is seriously worth a try. The side effects are WAYYY more manageable. A little dry mouth is all I get, and some kooky dreams.
I bumped myself up to 25 mgs, because I didn't notice a difference on 12.5.
I am wondering, how long did it take Tofranil users to find they got some relief? My doctor has recommended titrating up to 75 mgs or more, but I must admit, given the fact that I have moderate IC, I'm skeptical that it would help at a higher dose if I'm not getting ANY relief on 25.
