Tibial Nerve Stimulation for frequency and urgency

I saw my Urologist last week and she wants me to try Tibial Nerve Stimulation for the frequency and urgency issues related to IC. She says 'they' are having great success with this treatment with respect to freq/urge. Has anyone ever tried this?
