stool question

My doc has me taking tums to help get my urine less acidic. Does anyone know if taking tums in addition to taking the prelief could cause a change in stool color. thanks!

I honestly don't know the answer to your question. I hope someone who does this on a regular basis will come by and give you their experiences. However, I think this might be something that you should discuss with your doctor.

What I do wonder is, if you are experiencing a change in your stool color, what are you eating that might be causing this besides the Tums and Prelief? Maybe more dairy products? More green vegetables? Prunes? Beets?

I've heard of these medications causing constipation but not stool color. Anything is possible it seems but I really don't know the answer !! Sorry.

I take tums and prelief and I never had that happen to me. Sounds like it could be a certain food you are eating? Not sure.
