I everyone, I am a 22 year old italian girl with IC (in Italy we call it CI!)
I was diagnosed with IC on june, but I've had it since I was 17. It took me so long to go to the urologist and have the entire diagnosys procedure taken because I got informed on internet and self-diagnosed myself.
So basically i knew I had it and I knew there was no cure... One day my mother decided I had to "make it official" so I took the biopsy and stuff. Right now all I had is 4 months with Fibrase and he didn't help me at all! (like I didn't know it wouldn't!)
I'm going for the next treatment in the next weekes... (italian hospitals are slow... but at least they're free!)
MEANWHILE... HI everyone!
My IC arrived after I failed to cure a bacterical cystitis on time. Not so common, is it? Well al least I know how it all started for me... I'll never stop regretting it!
