I was diagnosed with IC back at the end of October. My husband was there and talked with the doc after I came out of my cystoscopy and hydro distension. I was just on the phone with the NP at my doc's office and had her read notes to me from my file. I did not even know that I had Hunner's ulcers. Is this considered to be the worst type of IC? I was really shocked that I was just finding this out. I am glad I asked and not that it changes anything but I am glad I found out. It never hurts to ask!

From my understanding Hunner's ulcers are VERY painful along with IC.. I do not have them, so maybe someone who does will chime in.. If you do not get any responses. Maybe you could start a thread with Title About Hunter Ulcer Questions..

I have severe IC, but never was told I had Huner's ulcers either, but back then, I never knew what to ask even my bladder capacity. The only thing I do remember is the doctor telling me my bladder looked very much like I should be in my 80s instead of my 30's.
I remember reading posts of people that do have Hunner's ulcers, so I am sure you will get some advice.

I did a search on Hunner's ulcers. There are several threads/posts about this. Just click on the link below to read what others have had to say about this.
