back from first hydro

Hi All-

I am back from my hydro.... despite having the flu this week my uro decided it would be best to go through with it because I had no fever or cough. I have to admit that the anticipation was worse than the procedure itself. I am in quite a bit of pain now though- it hurts so bad to pee- I am hoping that the pain subsides soon. They were able to confirm that I do infact have IC and showed me pictures. It is a huge relief to know that it is not all in my head- and I have peace of mind that I am not being treated for something that does not exist. Thanks to everyone who posted giving advice and encouragement- I really appreciate it. -M

I am glad the procedure went well. Now you need to get lots of rest. The pain with urination should get less and less. (((Hugs)))
