I think I will always think of myself as a misplaced Cornhusker, even though I have lived in Oregon for fifty years! I grew up and went to school near McCook --- are you anywhere near there?

I know where McCook is. I'm from Fullerton, which is northeast of GI by about 45 miles. I've basically lived in Nebraska my whole life except for a few years when my folks lived in NH when I was very young. I love it here except for the long winters. Oh and the wind, it blows every day.

I'm a "sand hill brat" from Benkelman, 54 miles southwest of McCook. I haven't been back to visit since about 1997. I still have a few relatives there.

I lived almost all my life in Lincoln. Moved to the Kansas City area 7 years ago.

Hi everyone...I've been in Omaha for 15 years now, moved from Calif. previously. Still miss the weather, but everything else about NE is great!
I tried contacting the gal who is listed as group leader for the IC support group in Lincoln, but never could get her to return my call. Anyone know if the NE support group is active? I'd be glad to "talk" with any other NE IC'ers who need support.

There is an IC support group meeting tomorrow night at Urology PC in Lincoln on 56th and Pine Lake road from 6:30-7:30 pm, if you are interested.
