My OB/GYN gave me vaginal valium, and B&M suppositories for the rectum. Has anyone used the B&M or the B&M supp vaginaly? The valium supp don't seem to do anything but make me sleepy. I have been in a bad flare. And I thought about trying this. Has anyone? Thanks!!

I have used B&O supp. rectally and they really help. They do tend to make me sleepy so I take them at night usually. I also usually only take them when I am having pelvic floor spasms or if we have been traveling. They have been very hard to get--the company had stopped making them for awhile. They are supposed to be available again. I have sent in a RX to my ins. co. and am waiting to hear if they really do have them again. I do not know what a B&M supp. is. Hope they help you. You might ask the pharmacy about taking them vaginally.

I'm not familiar with B & M --- do you know what the medications are?

The B is for Bellodonna and thr M is for Morphine. I guess that they use that now instead of opium-that was the O.

Yes, I got mine through my insurance pharmacy the other day. They have generic too. The drug company had told me that they may not have generic right away. I really don't need them right since my pain level is better now than it's been in years for now thank goodness, but I have them if I have any issues. That was a long stretch of worrying and calling everywhere.

I posted this on another thread, Paddock is the name of the manufacturer that mine are coming from, which is the same company they were before. Walgreens and Rite-aid should be able to order them since that is where I used to get mine.
