I have been doing rescue' for 2 years . The last one I did made me worse or at least I began flaring and it worsened and now I am on the other side slowly getting the pain to a more manageable point . I verified that my Heparin is ok - it's from Abraxis . Just concerned that maybe I have built up an immunity to the chemicals and they will no longer help me ? If rescues worked in the past can they suddenly stop working ? Frustrated because I work full time and spend my work week in pain .. so exhausted from it all !!!:bonk:

Could you have gotten an infection that is slowly clearing on its on? PV
I have occasionally had that happen too & it aggravates me, but I have no good answer as to why it sometimes happens...

It does sound like infection is a possibility.

From Day One These Never Helped Me. My Dr Stopped Trying After 4. They Made The Pain Much Worse. He Says That Is Uncommon But Can Happen.

They're still working great for me after four years, and anytime they don't work for me, it's generally a UTI.

Since more companies realize they have problem heparin too I am scared in that area. I don't think this is the type of med that you can grow an immunity too. Just by the way it works I don't think that is likely. Although with your experience with them I wouldn't guess this first.....PFD flare? Infection ofcourse is a possibility just throwing a few extra ideas too.
In general I think that how well it helps should grow not lesson. So even if we never figure out this flare don't loose hope! :grouphug:

I do not have a UTI , I think the flare was initially tempered but I waited too long to do one again . My recipe also is lame and my new URO is changing it . currently I have a small amount of Heparin and Kenalog . I need a larger amount . Foe me I realized when I am flaring super bad I need to do instills at least 3x per week . My old URO would not allow m to add sodium bicarb so I am hoping to add that as well . This leads me into another question :
Where can we get sodium bicarb ?
