This is a weird sex problem and one I have never, ever experienced with any partner until recently and only with this partner - the last 2 times with this guy I notice that I have passed a small amount of feces following vigorous vaginal intercourse (we haven't done anything anal). This is extremely embarrassing for me and I've never experienced it with anyone else. Admittedly, this has been a casual relationship - we worked together for a few years and had a huge attraction to each other but couldn't act it out due to the fact that we worked together and he was married. Now that we don't work together, he's getting a divorce and is moving to NYC in a few weeks, we have felt that it is "safe" to act out our attraction. Anyway, he's not said anything to me (I would die if he did), but I just wonder what's behind it. Maybe my own ambivalence and nervousness, as well as excitement, about being in these encounters? This happens during vigorous, passionate intercourse - when he hits my bladder it only hurts just a bit and I'm not aware of the feces problem until afterwards. I've had vigorous, passionate sex since having IC but haven't had the bowel problems with it until lately.

Any advice would be appreciated - I'm now to the point that I'm glad he's moving in a few weeks so I want have to face it again! Just hope it never happens with anyone else!

I would think that this might happen if there is feces in the lower part of the colon in the first place. The natural response of bearing down from this type of intercourse could be causing the feces to travel through the colon like it is supposed to do and then be pushed out. I know I have often passed gas because of this.

This happened to me one time and it was SO humiliating! And it was like the second time I slept with this guy, not like he was my husband or long time partner, so that made it even worse. He never said a word to me even though I am sure he noticed. I never figured out what caused it either but i feel your pain sister!

I guess it is a good thing he is moving to NYC,lol!

Thanks guys for your responses. It probably is some stuff in the lower colon that hasn't come up before intercourse. Like Sarah said, it's even more embarrassing when it isn't a long-term partner. Hope this never happens to me again!
